Happy New year

As we went out this morning N spotted some lambs in a field - that would be great a great blip for New Year, so we did a little detour so I could get a suitable blip. There were 2 ewes, and at first I couldn't see the lambs, they were hiding in the hedge - but out they came, 4 beautiful little lambs.
We saw our first lamb of the season about 2 weeks ago, and another pair of lambs high in the Mournes last week, yesterday we spotted a whole field of ewes with lambs, it all seems so early, with the worst of the winter weather still to come.
