Bribery

It has taken six months and a bit of bribery to get Finn and Nala in the same photograph, but finally we have one! Not very clear but a photo none the less. Finlay has been paying a particular interest in both the cats lately, reaching out to them whenever they come close enough. Mouse is becoming more relaxed but Nala still needs bribing to get anywhere near Finlay.

We have spent another day at home today, preparing the house for putting up the Christmas decorations tonight. Finlay enjoyed sitting while playing and is getting rather skilled at shaking things and making noise now. I also received unexpected news today that I would not be able to go back to work for four days as I had asked for. New boss and a sign of the times I guess, but feeling a bit flat while I absorb the news. Our usual walk in the winter sun today blew a few cobwebs away so am looking forward to seeing Jimmy when he gets back from work and getting in the Christmas spirit.
