NZ native Tui

So excited to see these beautiful birds on the West Coast today. I never even gave it a thought that they would be about. The Flax is out in flower and so many in big clumps everywhere here and Tuis having a grand feast! I could of stayed and stalked them all day but Baden wouldn’t want too lol
I actually only captured this image then my battery died! Then it started raining again so a mad dash for the Camper. Hope to see more on our travels up the Coast
