Happy New Year

Rather than watch from my bed last night we went up the fire escape to the 8th floor where there was an even better view.
I didn't bother to take the tripod but still managed some reasonable shots, hand held.

It's still pretty hot. We returned to the mountains after a leisurely morning and came down to the farm where Graham and family have returned for the night. Graham found an old gazebo we  haven't used for 10 years and erected it over the kids' pool. It's made an enormous difference, being pleasant and shady. I went in for a dip with the kids.
