... don’t believe a word of it. He’s just hamming it up for the camera! We had a refreshing walk on the beach, to get rid of the cobwebs.

We drove up to Christchurch from Arrowtown today - it took most of the day. We were lucky though, with no untoward episodes on the roads. We left at 7:30am and I think that most party goers must have still been in bed, as the roads were just about empty then.
Mt Cook looked fabulous, as did Mt Tasman & Lendenfeld Peak, next to it. I climbed that once, many many moons ago.
