2018 year of knitting

Learning to knit socks with multi coloured yarn has been a great joy of this year, I learnt from my friend who had a cracked neck of femur and we would spend time together knitting. Little did I think I would outstrip her by having a double fracture of neck of femur myself 8 months later but very glad a having a new skill at 72.
This yarn was a present from her son so a good way to see one year out and the next one in.
