Head start to New Year

I joined to cacher's meet today, but forgot to take Bert with me, so no new "Bert in the meet" blip today. Instead I post a shot of our part of the town's New Year celebration event, which started already at 9 pm with some speeches and fireworks.

Now I'm considering if I'll go to city's major fireworks show on midnight. The question is if the snowstorm with heavy wind arrives over us at the same time. As per cloud and rain radar it arrives here just on midnight...
