Cold meats.

Today we travelled back to Surrey to visit Mr Tbays Mum, Granny Tbay, who sadly is now very seriously unwell. She is now in a truly lovely nursing home who are making her as comfortable as possible. The home is only 5 mins away from Mr Tbays brother and family so she is getting lots of visits. However she is really unaware of us although she did open her eyes just briefly and said a few word when we were there . She is no longer willing to eat or drink so I guess it is just a case of time. At 94 1/2 although we are of course sad it will be a happy release for her as she has really not wanted to be here for some time.

Our friends the W’s also accompanied us to brother in laws as they have for many years accompanied us when we have taken Granny back home via then after her stay with us at Christmas. Despite the sad circumstances we have a very pleasant time with the family.

Then it was home to another lovely cold meat soread with the family.
