Duddon Valley

drove across the Hardknott pass today, one of the steepest roads in england and quite a hair-raising drive. Especially frightening as I was driving!  It was a bit mist and rather windy at the top with just a brief glimpse of the sun (see extra). we then drove back through the Duddon valley stopping off for lunch in a pub in the valley.
