Shepherd

Had to make a trip to Callander this morning.

The road over was fine but Hubby decided to take the longer, scenic route home. Part of this road is still closed due to snow and ice but, being a man, he had to drive past the road closed sign. Just because we have a 4x4 doesn't mean we can tackle any road regardless in my mind. Definitely a man thing.

Anyway, before we arrived at the 'closed' part we saw the shepherd in the field. After I took some photos he came over to talk to me. He is actually a retired shepherd but the farmer lets him take some sheep to work his dogs.

Arrived home in one piece despite the snow and ice and now having a coffee to calm the nerves.
