My annual round-up on the penultimate day of the year.

A busy year for the family, as we welcomed my niece Hayley into the world in February, and celebrated Paige’s 3rd birthday in August. Mum and Dad celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary in October too, and we enjoyed Shaun and Emma’s wedding in June.  Some sad times this year too, losing Uncle David in October.

It’s been an eventful year for me and Holly.  An amazing trip to New York in March, then in May, we bought a new flat online by simply adding to a basket, and moved in September.  Holly’s parents moved into Edinburgh too, so we paid a final visit to her childhood home in Lanark in July.

And to top it all off, in December, I popped the question and we end the year engaged!
