New Year’s Eve

The tradition of dropping an 87 pound popcorn ball from the flagpole in the village triangle started 6 years ago. Proceeds go toward the restoration of Town Hall. Application was made to the Guiness Book of World Records for the largest popcorn ball to be dropped on New Year’s Eve. PS it’s edible. I have no idea what happens to it after it’s dropped. I hope the birds get to eat it.
