Mason's Lodge

A large part of York Minster is covered in scaffolding. I find it hard to imagine how they keep track of dangerous stonework, even with the use of drones as I was told. This is where the masons cut the stone and carve new gargoyles - the mason's art is still very much alive and kicking.
