Espresso!

Given the rather late night with Bob and his uncle, last evening, I felt pretty chipper, this morning, most of which I spent loading and unloading the dishwasher and washing machine, and wandering around the house with bin liners, which I filled with wrapping paper, empty envelopes, present labels, sweet wrappers, and, basically, litter.

Still, it felt great when it was all done and I celebrated by using the espresso maker that Hannah gave me for Christmas to make myself a coffee for the road before setting off to Chorley for a swim.

In the evening, the Minx, miniMinx, and I met up with my old friend David, who's performing at Bridgewater Hall, tomorrow evening. We had drinks at Home, first, where we were joined for a while by Charlie and Hannah (to handover presents that had been left at my house), and then we went on to the excellent Indian Tiffin Room for dinner.
