Family Tree

I am related to Alexander Dumas through my father's mother's side. This photo is of my great-great-grandfather, one of the many illegitimate sons of Alexander Dumas.
My parents have recently unearthed a lot of family photographs which were all carefully annotated as my grandma researched her family tree. She was adopted as a little girl and it was important to her to investigate where she really came from.
Highlights how important it can be to future generations to keep a careful track of what we do and who we are.
