New Year's Egrets

Today we got away from the office and did something just for us and George. So we took him for his first ever beach visit - at Goolwa. There we have beach and river with Goolwa being also the mouth of the River Murray.

Due in part to so many people being around, the birds on the river were not that close to the parking areas along the roadway. This was the best I could do between the Egrets and Pacific Black Ducks.
