Bang!

I was sitting watching The Hereos Of Telemark on the box when a loud bang drew me to the back of the flat where someone was letting of few fireworks, loud enogh to shake the inner pane on my double glazed windows. If you look at the bottom right of the picture you can see Nelson's Column and Edinburgh's Disgrace lit up like a ......Firework.
I think the 5 Minute heavy duty barrage was the culmination of the torch light procession through the city as part of the New Year Celebrations.
