Knaresborough

Can’t go to Harrogate without a trip to Knaresborough. I took L and her cousin L there for lunch today whilst N helped sort some bits out with his family.

We went to see N’s dad briefly this afternoon in his respite care home (or his “holiday home” as we have told L). Two things struck us the most: firstly that he was out of bed, in a chair (we could tell that L felt happier with this too) and, secondly it seemed that a bit of hope has returned to him. Relief!
