Home again

Backblip


After two lovely days in London, it was time to make the long journey back home again. Normally we would stay an extra day, but this year, I have to work some hours tomorrow and we also are having our new oven fitted. 

It took us over 5 hours to get home - nothing in particular, just sheer weight of traffic and those blasted roadworks, plus the addition of the usual huge lorries now back again. The only reason we drive is because of the poor train service over Christmas. The rest of the year it's fine and we prefer to let the train take the strain as it's less than 2 hours from Warrington to London Euston. 

It's so nice to be home again and I'm enjoying catching up on the few programmes we wanted to watch.
