Not a Volcano....

..... but the Dents du Midi from a different viewpoint to my usual one. I had forgotten about the crowds and lack of parking up in the ski stations above us but eventually got a space at the end of a "dog walk". Everyone was walking dogs there. However, taking a little footpath off the main one, I was lucky, no one in sight and I had a quiet walk in the forest just popping out to see the sun about to drop behind the Dents. Unfortunately I had to get back home so could not hang around for the sun to touch the summit.
