Sparkle of winter.

Another busy day with various chores, but at last we have finalised the deal on a car purchase. A good feeling to have our independence and especially at this time of year an AWD vehicle. We should be set up for summer road trips as well now, and K & M will use it sometimes in the meantime.
Still time for a walk in what is becoming a favourite area...down in the reserve. A little oasis, frozen solid, quiet and peaceful, just the occasional bird calls (Townsends scrub jay and northern flicker??) and deer tracks in the glistening snow. The deer hide well and are usually only visible at night on the roads.
