Funchal

We took the local bus up to Monte, high above the capital of Madeira- it’s a steep climb and with very narrow roads.  The journey took half an hour. The bus was full with many having to stand.  Much cooler today and being much higher  we felt quite chilly.  We had another lovely lunch at the top and then travelled back using the cable car.  Great views
