Goose Rescue -- Day 4

We're making progress.  She comes to the door as soon as she sees me and will now let me touch her.  We'll resume rescue attempts after the holiday but for now I'm trying to get her familiar with me so that maybe I'll be able to grab her.  

The rescue folks have told me that some geese can't be captured but can get along quite well with a broken leg.  This one seems to be doing pretty well but the worry is whether she can defend herself if other geese choose to pick on her.   For now, she's safe and I'm pretty confident we can get her the help she needs.
