Lama Time!

We live above a lama. This lama is a very popular one who allegedly has the power to heal people. He does this by chanting, ringing bells, banging a drum and blowing his horn. At 5 in the morning. It was very romantic and exotic at the beginning, now when the "lama goes off" in the morning the ear plugs go in.

My cold was worse today so I took the day off to recover. The Mrs started on the baking project. Which was a success. The method requires a little tweaking, but considering we don't have an oven it was brilliant! And we have two chocolate cakes to eat :-P

In the evening we went shopping or some lentil and spices which was great. The spice shops are great with massive bags of all the spices you could ask for, all apparently run by Indian people. We got some "jeera" and then made lentil sup which was delicious.

I also bought a 1cm high Buddha statue for 100 rupees. I am making a shrine!
