View from Wynyard quarter

Today our daughter was on the radio for an hour, doing her usual slot. While she was there we took our grandsons to a park and splash pool near the Wynyard quarter. They really enjoyed themselves but it was so hot we took them to a little cafe for a cold drink. Getting the one year old changed on the grass was a mission, then he wouldn’t go in a high chair so sat on my lap ! He is Very active so that was a challenge!
Still a good time was had by all:-)
We watched this sea plane come into land and stop right in front of a large cruise shop.
