Some R & R

Saturday 29th December 2018

We all slept in and didn't go swimming as planned. A leisurely breakfast followed by a walk around the gardens at Belton Wood House - my sister-in-law looking through an external photo frame in the grounds top right. 

Then out to the race track where my brother (bottom) and I (top) enjoyed a few laps of karting before we ALL went ten-pin bowling. Mum said "I'm not totally useless" - there's no stopping this 91 yr old! Another photo of me and my brother here.

Back to the hotel for a cuppa, a review of photos, then a swim before meeting up in the bar for drinks followed by a lovely meal. We finished the evening with a game of cards. 

A wonderful day of R & R even if it was action packed!
