The missing day

We left SF on 3rd December, but arrived in Auckland on 5th - and all because of the International Date Line. This is a photo of the screen showing the plane's progress across the Pacific. Handily Air NZ (or Air Middle Earth, as they are currently calling themselves) marked a line on the map so that I had a blip to show for the missing day. The Middle Earth thing livened up the safety video no end - it stars Peter Jackson...
