A very long lie in this morning - thank goodness Archie's not an early riser.

Elizabeth took him off for the day, and as it was such a nice day, we felt we should GO somewhere, but really, the days are so short that it's pointless setting off after midday, even to somewhere close like South Queensferry.

And so we decided to pop down to Stockbridge for a nosey around. But it didn’t take long for me to lose interest, and when my bus happened to arrive at the bus stop at the same time as us, I took it as a sign, jumped on, and came home. JR didn’t mind - she's happy taking her time browsing.

Look what arrived today! My reciprocating saw. Can’t wait to use it.
