Heady scent

This bowl of hyacinths has rushed to open over the last few days and is now filling the kitchen with its beautiful scent.

And finally all of the Christmas chicken has been eaten and it was all delicious. Celeriac cheese (like cauliflower cheese) topped with sliced tomato and crispy bacon (which is trying to overpower the hyacinths!)
