A bit of sunset

I decided late this afternoon to go to Woodbury Common to see if there was any chance of sunset or late afternoon colours.  Surprised to find the carpark very full but I think mainly dog walkers.  The sky was very grey so I headed to the estuary side and thought there may be a chance of sunset colour but the cloud tended to close in while I took these earlier shots.

Otherwise today was a fairly sunny start when I headed to the shops to get in some stocks for New Years Eve, I thought it may be busy but it wasn't.
