Fuelling the generator

Day 3 without power.
Very thankful for the generator that G can plug in for a couple of hours in the morning and again at night to keep the food in the fridge cold and give us water (cold) and light (lamps that can be plugged into the extension cord from the generator).
Very thankful also for good neighbours, headlamps, flashlights, lamps that run on batteries, the wood stove that keeps us and the house warm and that we can heat water or soup on, and skills that we've (G especially!) acquired over the years that help us roll with whatever comes our way.
