These feet are made for walking...

After enjoying a buffet brunch at the nearby restaurant, we boarded a ferry for Isla del Lobos, a volcanic island off the coast of Fuertaventura.

It took us about 75 minutes to walk clockwise around the island, from the port to the lighthouse, and then another 75 minutes to complete the circuit.

We did rotate a few shoulder rides but the kids were largely very accommodating. I'm sure that was helped by the promise of a two scoop gelato ice-cream!
