All Open Now

We left Akaora just before lunch time. It sure was hot when we left. lots of people had arrived in a area so it was busy with cars. We had trouble just getting out of our garage. When we got down into the village it was so crowded with people and cars. I have never seen it so busy. People were parking up near were my place is as all car-parking was taken. Luckily there was only one Cruise Ship in!

On the way back to Christchurch we had no traffic but the lines of traffic going to Akaroa was unbelievable.  Not sure where they will park!

I bought some lilies just before Christmas and thought they may have been out for Christmas day.. but not one was. They were all out when we arrived home today and look so beautiful. It has been really warm with around 29c. After days of no more than 20c it was far too hot for me! So pleased it has cooled now.

Still not feeling 100% but are improving.
