'Wonderment begins!

Our tradition living away from most of our birth families is to spend the day before Christmas with our "chosen" family and friends .  We are at the home of fellow blipper JohnSmiley , who , sadly, was quite ill that night so had to be quaranteened to his bedroom.  We had fun , good food and  a loving time....much effort put into pulling it all together by John's mom, my long longtime good friend.  The little fellow here is John's nephew and his mom is the one in the top picture with someone holding a jelly jar across her forehead....  A pleasant time was had ...early home to get ready for our kids stopping by again on Christmas on their way back to Portland.
