The Stray

Well, Boxing Day is certainly the day to travel - we made it from Kent to Harrogate in around 4.5 hours (compared to 8 hours this time last year on 27th Dec and an equally awful trip the year before).

We had originally planned to head straight to N’s parents’ but what with his dad being so poorly and then both of them coming down with the norovirus we changed our plans.

So... a brief stroll on the stray (Tewit Well pictured), check in at the Premier Inn and then a buffet tea round at N’s sister’s house. L loved seeing her cousin (also L, but 13 years old) and playing with her dolls house and balloons!

Hopefully we’ll see N’s parents tomorrow, once they have been virus free for more than 48 hours and the house has been disinfected.
