Ruffled feathers

We went to Sainsbury's this morning, to get a few things, including our New Years Eve meal, which will be steak, with all the trimmings. It's another damp grey day, which is so depressing, Bring on the sunshine I say. J is making a curry out of the leftovers, and it is smelling so good. I went down the garden, to feed the birds, and saw this tiny little sparrow, who looks like he hasn't been in this world for very long. I watched  him for ages,  just sitting at the back of the tree, on his own. I got quite close, but it was difficult to get a good photo because the tree branches were in the way.
