A Twixmas Tree

Ventured out for the first time in 4 days today despite still being full of cold., Poor dogs were going stir crazy
Trouble was I had to have a rest half way through the field, so I pretended I'd stopped to take this photo. The only one for miles with any green on it. Saw two wrens twittering amongst the dead grasses while I was stood there, but, no chance of capturing them in a photo.
Think someone got a 12 bore for Christmas - hasn't stopped since Tuesday
