Lone Tree
I especially like lone tree photos. Today was a dreary, rainy day which made this one seem appropriate. As I was posting, I realized this can be from at least two views. The first - Christmas is over. We must go back to the humdrum daily lives we lead, and see the weather and tree as appropriate back drops to slogging forward now that the Christmas season has passed even though we might see a bright side for the New Year's Celebration, if not the hope for all of 2019. The second - we are between the season of Christmas and Epiphany, as well as what we call the 12 Days of Christmas, with old Christmas, in some places like the Outer Banks of North Carolina, celebrated January 6. According to Scripture, the wise men are on their way bearing gifts to the new blessed one. The trees and all creation praise the Creator as the psalmist describes in Psalm 148. Some can see the limbs of trees reaching up and out to offer praise to the One who created them. Blessings my beloved Blip friends around the globe.
