Sally Mair - Loving life

By Sallymair

Look up there.....

Kathryn was working today so we went with J and the girls to the park and then a walk at Cramond. They are both pretty adventurous as you can see. The interest was in the extremely noisy plane coming in along the flight path overhead, they come in at more than 1 per minute and as J said, it's enough to make you think twice about living in Cramond.
At one point I got adventurous too and climbed a tree in the area outside the walled garden to rescue a hula hoop which was stuck there. When I brought it back Eilidh asked where I'd got it from and when I said I'd climbed a tree she was most impressed and decided I was very cool!
She then insisted on being taken to see the tree and having a go at climbing it herself. We learned the first lesson of tree climbing which is making sure you can always climb down again after you have climbed up.
I was rated cool twice today, so that's pretty impressive at 64 I reckon.
A quick trip down to the prom so they could use scooter and bike before back home for lunch.
Some bargain shopping in M&S foodhall this afternoon, delectable goodies at 10% of their original prices, cake for £1.50 not £15, 6 chocolate mousse pinecones for £1.30 not £13, 9 chocolate ganache squares for 50p not £5 and 9 fruit cheesecake squares also 50p not £5. The diet is having a couple of days off I think! I did buy some cheap radish and fruit too so all is not lost!!

Managed to do 17111 steps today so at least the steps are on target
