Superficial Intelligence

Smart devices aren't always that smart. 

It's why, when a photo app claims to have compiled my 'Smiles of 2018', I'm not surprised that less than a tenth of them are actual smiles (and one of those is on a billboard); most of them are sneers or grimaces. Nor do I really expect to be able to train a voice recognition programme to figure out what I'm saying.
