Orange is the New Planter Box

We stopped at the succulent farm outside Castroville just to see the expression on C's face when she saw the acres of plants in those greenhouses: big, small, red, pink, green, striped, pointy, soft, and on and on down the list of adjectives. After admiring this VW planter, I'm on the lookout for an old Beetle to decorate the last remaining empty space on our property. (Note to Mr S: just kidding, dear...) But isn't it great?!

We went on to the Elkhorn Slough Reserve for a lovely long walk. I managed to identify buffleheads and a curlew and the wild turkeys in the Extras. I love saying the word Bufflehead. Bufflehead!
