Christmas Dog
Apparently, the later you open your presents, the posher you are. This year, we managed to be a lot less posh than normal and opened them all in the morning. We usually run out of time and have to defer them until tea time.
Then M and I went out for a run. Reasonably pacy. I got a 9th place out of everyone, ever on one section but M did sprint off into the distance twice.
Then off to mum’s for a proper Christmas dinner (lovely) followed by the now traditional walk with Uncle D’s dog - the completely untrained Kes.
Uncle D denied that Kes lacked training and, to demonstrate, took her off the lead and got her to walk to heel. It was impressive. Man and dog side by side. But we did have to point out that she still went in the direction and at the pace that she wanted. Effectively, she had trained him to walk to heel to her.
Then, feeling unaccountably sleepy, we headed home...
