Dabbers in the Frame

I was woken up very early again and I eventually got up and went for a run in the sun.  It felt a bit cooler as there were clouds, but it was still red hot when the sun broke through.  We decided to head over the border into Devon to Killerton, which we had visited on a wet day a couple of years ago.  As we headed inland, it got cloudier with some drizzle – the sun had disappeared.

We had a minimal picnic with us, as the cupboard was bare and when we got there the café was closed for re-thatching, so we had to make do with what we had.  We had a wander around the gardens and estate sheltering from the worst of the rain showers.  We walked to Budlake Post Office, only to find it was closed on a Friday, so walked back through the orchard.

Once back home, we went to a local pub for tea, which was very nice and enormous portions, which suited us who had had a minimal lunch.

Later TT and I watched the first episode of Breaking Bad.
