A Visit to Birmingham

I had a quick foray into the city Centre this morning.  You could tell it was going to be busy when the first off-peak train was standing room only.

In the end I tolerated it for an hour and a half.  Enough time to two tops and two pairs of trousers (and some discounted Christmas cards).  I might have stopped longer but found myself by New Street Station with my local train leaving in 5 minutes.  It was a no brainer with the crowds building up fast.
