New Traditions

Today we were invited round to A&C's for a tasty lunch followed by a game of darts in their wonderful garden shed.  (It's a posh one with heating, insulation and comfy seating.) "Is this a tradition?" I asked.  "It might become one" A replied!  So, accompanied by olives, warm sausage rolls and bottles of wine, we played darts and had a great time!

Later in the evening Mike and I decided we need a little something for supper so opened our present from my cousin Andy in Australia.  It is a genuine Sicilian panettone, with pistachios, peaches and chocolate drops!  Oh my - the most delicious we have ever tasted!  And beautifully wrapped too.  So very glad he chose to marry a Sicilian who is happy to advise him on such matters!  

Ever so easy to eat, it just vanishes before your eyes . . . !  Hopefully a new tradition in the years to come!
