Pump failure

The central heating has been a bit noisy of late but this afternoon it went mad.
Investigation showed a very hot pump (the “dry” end was hotter than the “wet” end) and it weren’t pumping water.
At a quarter past six I was in Screwfix, at a quarter past seven I am drinking a glass of red and the house is silently warming up.
Provided it doesn’t leak over night it looks promising.
