Today...

it was a murky start with a heavy low lying mist but luckily it began to clear almost as quickly as it had come down. We walked along the old railway line and the leet by the old mill was dry and the sluice was fully open which explained why!
I also got the new wing mirror fitted without too much trouble and did not distort the door with it only being held by the lower hinge. It took a bit of time doe to my obsession with cleaning threads off and re-greasing prior to fitting and then of course the last nut was tricky to catch as I had not taken the door card fully off. But its now on and its not at suck a wacky angle as the photo would appear to show!
