Downham Hill from Cam Long Down

Even at shortly after noon, the sky was presenting the warmer tints of sunset as we clambered up the Long Down from Cam Peak. It's been such a mild winter thus far one wonders what January will bring, but for now the steep sides of the escarpment remain green and mostly unmuddied by walkers. The views to the west are however entirely lost in the damp mist that overhangs the Severn Vale.
