Balmedie

We took the new bypass from Kingswells as far as Dyce where we had to leave it as the section is not yet opened. From there we worked our way rather tortuously over to the coast and up to Balmedie.

The weather was quite mild as we walked amongst the dunes. We attempted to get to the beach, but at the place we chose to cross over to the beach our route was blocked by a patch of water. It would not have been deep, but not ideal for walking through with shoes.

There were strong rays where the sun was able to break through the cloud.
