Shakey head

It's a simple game: shake your head from side to side while getting your photo taken and laugh at the results. She's easily amused, especially if it's a distraction from eating her dinner. And with longer hair she's fairly good at it.

Another busy day - straight to work along the busy roads seeing as the paths were likely to iced up. Straight to the grindstone only to find that the network was down. Always the best way to start a tender-submission day. They're hardly ever stressed because everything has been ready for days (as if) so having that little frisson of excitement really gets the adrenaline going.

Run back was "interesting" with many sections of the supposedly gritted paths still icy and slithery. The best bit was going down the hill as the little sharp started coming down straight into my face. Such larks.

I did get a nice new book though and felt thorough proud that it only cost a tenner more than it would have if I'd bought it from tax-dodging Amazon. I was right pleased with that obviously. I'm sure Waterstones will make good use the money.
